Privacy Policy

The short version
Plyna does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not run advertising. When you use this site, you are anonymous to us.
Who we are
Plyna (plyna.co.uk) is operated by Ply Norwood LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17266586). Plyna is an independent money-transfer comparison service. For privacy enquiries, contact us at hello@plyna.co.uk.
Ply Norwood LTD acts as data controller for any data processed in connection with this website. In practice, the data processed is minimal and described fully below.
What data we process and why
Web server logs (infrastructure)
Like every website, Plyna is served via infrastructure (Vercel) that processes standard HTTP request data — your IP address, browser type, and the URL you requested — in order to deliver pages to you. This data is handled by Vercel under their own privacy policy. Plyna does not receive, store, or log this data. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (delivering the service you requested).
Analytics (cookieless)
We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across sites. It measures aggregate page-view counts. No personal data is stored. No consent banner is required. See Vercel Analytics Privacy.
Admin session cookie
The admin area uses a single admin-session cookie, set only after a successful password check. It is httpOnly, not accessible to JavaScript, expires after 8 hours, and is never set for regular visitors. If you are not an admin, no cookie is ever written.
Contact emails
If you email us, we will receive your email address and message content. We use it only to respond and do not add you to any mailing list. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest.
What we do not do
- — We do not collect names, email addresses, or any form registration data from visitors.
- — We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.
- — We do not sell data to third parties.
- — We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
- — We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking services.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we hold essentially no personal data about visitors, exercising most of these rights will result in confirmation that we hold nothing. Regardless, you may contact us at hello@plyna.co.uk to exercise any right.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. We do not anticipate significant changes, given our minimal data footprint.
